Nyamuoch Girwath, a model and the founder of Principle Things, has carved a unique path in the modeling industry, overcoming challenges and empowering others along the way. Originally from South Sudan, Nyamuoch moved to America at a young age. Her journey into modeling began in Nebraska, where she grew up. Nyamuoch’s rise in modeling coincided with a period known as the “white out,” where black models faced limited opportunities. Despite these obstacles, she has worked with prestigious brands like L’Oreal, Mac Cosmetics, Apple, and Target.
Beyond her modeling career, Nyamuoch is dedicated to empowering young models of color through Principle Things. This platform provides education, resources, mentorship, and guidance to navigate the industry’s challenges. Collaborating with models across Africa, America, and Europe, Nyamuoch’s vision is to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for aspiring models.
