The collaboration will focus on entrepreneurship development, startup support, youth empowerment, leadership training, business networking and access to funding opportunities.
Just4WomenAfrica has entered into a strategic partnership with the Nigeria Entrepreneurs Network (NEN) to promote entrepreneurship, leadership development, innovation and sustainable economic growth.
The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in September and October 2026, establishes a framework for both organisations to collaborate on initiatives designed to support entrepreneurs, startups, young people, professionals and emerging leaders.
Through this collaboration, Just4WomenAfrica and NEN aim to strengthen opportunities for business development, capacity building, mentorship, networking and cross-border collaboration.
Advancing Entrepreneurship and Business Growth
Entrepreneurs and small businesses play an important role in economic development, job creation and innovation. However, many continue to face challenges accessing relevant business support, mentorship, investment-readiness training and networks that can help them grow.
The partnership seeks to address some of these challenges through joint entrepreneurship training programmes, business advisory sessions, startup incubation, mentorship opportunities and initiatives focused on business formalisation and growth.
The organisations also intend to explore opportunities to improve awareness of grants, funding programmes, proposal writing and investment readiness, helping entrepreneurs better understand the resources available to support their businesses.
Supporting Young People and Emerging Leaders
Youth empowerment and leadership development are also central to the collaboration.
The proposed areas of cooperation include employability and career development initiatives, skills acquisition programmes, youth innovation challenges, executive leadership workshops and community leadership initiatives.
The organisations will also explore opportunities for vocational and technical training, digital skills development, professional certification and small and medium-sized enterprise management training.
Through these activities, the partnership aims to contribute to the development of skills, knowledge and networks that enable individuals and businesses to pursue sustainable growth.
Building Networks and Expanding Opportunities
The MoU also identifies opportunities for the organisations to collaborate on conferences, summits, exhibitions, business networking events, trade and investment forums, research projects and knowledge-sharing publications.
International partnerships and cross-border business collaboration form another part of the agreement, reflecting the importance of connecting entrepreneurs and organisations with opportunities beyond their immediate markets.
As part of the arrangement, both organisations intend to promote relevant announcements, programmes and opportunities through their respective websites, newsletters and communication channels. They have also agreed to recognise each other on their websites and establish links between their official platforms.
These communication arrangements are intended to strengthen visibility and help relevant audiences discover each organisation’s work and initiatives.
A Shared Commitment to Impact
Under the MoU, the Nigeria Entrepreneurs Network will support stakeholder engagement in Nigeria, mobilise entrepreneurs within its network and promote jointly agreed programmes through its communication channels.
Just4WomenAfrica will contribute its experience in entrepreneurship and leadership development, facilitate mentorship opportunities, coordinate training and capacity-building programmes, support programme design and implementation, and provide access to its international networks where appropriate.
Both organisations will work together to plan and implement agreed initiatives, share relevant information, explore additional partnerships and funding opportunities, and monitor the progress of joint projects.
The agreement provides a framework for cooperation over an initial three-year period, with specific projects and any associated financial arrangements to be agreed separately where necessary.
Looking Ahead
The partnership between Just4WomenAfrica and the Nigeria Entrepreneurs Network represents an opportunity to bring together networks, expertise and resources in support of entrepreneurship, leadership and economic development.
As both organisations explore practical areas of collaboration, the focus will be on identifying initiatives that respond to the needs of entrepreneurs, young people, professionals and communities.
By strengthening connections between business support organisations and creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing, mentorship and collaboration, the partnership aims to contribute to a more connected and supportive environment for entrepreneurship and leadership development.
